Put on your skis right outside the hotel door because the slopes are not far away: in one, two or three swings you can get directly to the “Brunner” connecting ski lift, which will take you to the sunny family skiing resort Gitschberg-Jochtal! Back you go by skiing down the amazing descent that leads directly to our family ski hotel in South Tyrol, Italy.

Questions & answers about your ski holiday with children in South Tyrol
Learning to ski playfully: Together with the ski school “Snow Pro” in Maranza, we offer group courses for children starting from 4 years old. The courses take place from Sunday to Friday. The meeting point and conclusion of the courses are in the brand-new children´s park right in front of the hotel’s garage entrance. Beginners will start their adventure on the magic carpet at the main entrance, while advanced skiers head straight to the fantastic slopes. Children with some skiing experience can practice and learn playfully in the new children’s park.
What types of ski courses are there?
The Snow Pro Ski School offers courses for all levels: beginners, intermediate and experts. Children from 4 years old can learn to ski playfully in specially designed courses, while adults can choose between group and private lessons, tailored to their individual needs.
At what age should you learn to ski?
Children can start skiing as early as 4 years old. Playful learning methods and child- friendly equipment ensure that they have fun in the snow and make rapid progress.
How much does a ski course cost?
The prices for the group courses are as follow:
- 1 day: from 85 €
- 2 days: from 165 €
- 3 days: from 220 €
- 4 days: from 250 €
- 5 days: from 275 €
- 6 days: from 295 €

When do the ski courses start?
Ski courses always start on Sundays.
For advanced participants, it is also possible to start on Monday or Tuesday.
How long does a ski course last?
Group courses take place daily during the following time slot:
from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Depending on the course you choose, you can book between 3 and 6 days.
Are skis & snowboards also available for hire?
yes, you can rent skis with us – conveniently directly at the hotel.
Opening hours:
Monday and Sunday: 8:30–11:00 and 14:30–17:30
Tuesday to Saturday: 14:30–17:30
How big are the groups?
Small teams, great progress: To ensure that children receive optimal care, the number of participants in the “Snow Pro” ski school is limited. Each group is supervised by a ski instructor who looks after a maximum of 8 children. This way, we ensure professional, individual support and quick learning progress
How are the groups organised?
Your groups, your course locations, your adventure: The children´s groups are divided based on age and skill level and this is managed by the ski school. Possible course locations include: the magic carpet in front of the building, the children´s park by the garage entrance or the direct starting point “Meeting Point” in front of the hotel. If you book private lessons, you will drive to the meeting point with your own car.
