Once the world is covered in magical white, there’s (almost) nothing keeping the little ones and grown-ups indoors: off they go to enjoy the glistening snow that has fallen from the sky in cotton candy flakes. The magical winter landscape looks like if it has jumped straight out of a fairytale book and all just to enchant you. Perfect conditions for a fun-filled day of skiing!

Put on your skis right outside the hotel door because the slopes are not far away: in one, two or three swings you can get directly to the “Brunner” connecting ski lift, which will take you to the sunny family skiing resort Gitschberg-Jochtal! Back you go by skiing down the amazing descent that leads directly to our ski hotel in South Tyrol.

Information about ski school, ski courses & ski rental

You want to book a ski course?

We have some magical news to share with you! In collaboration with the “Snow Pro” ski school in Maranza, we offer group lessons starting from 4 years old. These courses take place from Sunday to Friday in two time slots: from 10:00 to 12:30 or from 12:45 to 15:15.

Those skiing for the first time begin their adventure at the main entrance of the hotel, where the courses take place on the magic carpet. Advanced skiers also gather at the main entrance and head directly to the fantastic slopes of the ski area. Children who have already had their first skiing experiences but still have little experience can practice in the brand-new children’s park, directly in front of the hotel’s garage entrance.

Please note that the number of participants in the “Snow Pro” ski school is limited. There is one ski instructor per group, responsible for a maximum of 8 children. This way, we aim to ensure professional management.

When do the ski courses start?

Usually, the ski courses start on Sundays. However, it is also possible to join the course on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

How are the groups formed and where does the ski course take place?

The children are assigned to different groups according to age and skills. There are three different places where the courses take place: at the magic carpet next to the hotel, at the brand-new kids’ park or directly from the “meeting point” at the hotel. If you book private lessons, you must get to the meeting point with your ski instructor by your own.

Is there a ski rental?

You can book your children’s equipment in advance online.

The ski hire in the hotel is open every day at certain times when you can pick up your ski equipment.
